Juana I. Olaya Caro, a painter from Rota. Olaya Caro, has exhibited her oil paintings in the Sala
Bergantín of the Hotel Duque de Nájera, from 1 to 26 June 2025.
As thanks, she has donated one of the works on display, with the following characteristics

The work is painted in oil on board and based on the newspaper ‘Informaciones’, at
collage mode. He paints in oil on superimposed layers, in order to achieve
volumes.
The title is ‘ROTA’, with dimensions 24×40 cm. It is a unique work of the author and is
a theme that inspires the painter who has numerous paintings with details of the
Villa.
The place of the exhibition has been very emotional for the painter, because
before the construction of the Hotel, there were some houses on the site
where she was born and where she lived her childhood.
