From April 17th to May 17th, Obrador San Antonio and Cosasdecome are organizing a route in Rota where ten establishments will compete to create the “Rota mollete,” a sandwich that aspires to become the city’s most representative. Each establishment will offer its own version with typical local ingredients, and customers will choose the winner by voting. The most highly rated mollete will be added to the menu of the winning restaurant and the bakery’s cafes.

This initiative is part of “Primavera Molletera” (Mollete Spring), an event that celebrates this traditional bread as a symbol of Andalusian gastronomy, and in which our restaurants El Embarcadero and La Gaviota have enthusiastically participated.
