The Hotel Playa de la Luz in Rota will host the sixth edition of the Rota Piano Week between November 20 and 25. It is a training project that brings together young pianists from all over the world, and that includes three events:
– International masterclasses for pianists, given by Óscar Martín, Michał Białk and Piotr Machnik, soloists with renowned and extensive international experience who offer their experience and knowledge to the participants.
– Concerts starring the best students of the masterclasses, chosen by the three teachers.
– A competition that will take place on the 25th, in which the students of the concerts and lessons will participate. The three teachers will choose the winner, whose prize will be the opportunity to perform an individual piano recital in Seville, in the 2023/2024 season.
Rota Piano Week will open on November 19; The next day the piano masterclasses will begin. The event will conclude on the 25th with the closing concert. All of this in an exceptional and incomparable setting in the town of Rota such as the Hotel Playa de la Luz, which will offer accommodation and logistics for work days and musical evenings.

RULES FOR PARTICIPATION IN LA ROTA PIANO WEEK
The rate of the three modalities includes:
– Participation in AT LEAST one of the concerts organized during the session.
– Rehearsal facilities.
– Diploma of participation in the Rota Piano Week VI 2023.
Applicants must send an email to rotapianoweek@gmail.com including their name, address, telephone number, short resume, chosen number of lessons and a repertoire for the masterclasses. The term ends on November 1, 2023.
All participants who cannot be in Rota all the time of the masterclass must inform the secretariat until November 3, 2023.
Prepayment of registration is not required. The entire amount will be paid on the first day of the masterclass.
The Hotel Playa de la Luz is a strategic partner of the Rota Piano Week 2023 and offers rooms for the participants, their families or friends during the masterclasses. All travel, accommodation, transportation, subsistence and insurance costs will be the responsibility of the participants.
The father, mother or legal guardian of the minor participants agrees that Rota Piano Week cannot assume any responsibility for the supervision of the minor participants. This affects in particular their behavior immediately before or after the masterclass/course and outside of the classes where it takes place. The father, mother or legal guardian is responsible for damages caused by underage participants.
Participation in Rota Piano Week takes place under the responsibility of each attendee, who will be responsible for any damage that may be caused.
In the event that any of the specific terms of these conditions does not have or ceases to have effect, it will not affect the validity of the rest of the general terms or conditions. The ineffective term will be replaced by the substitute provision that most closely matches the regulation in question.
