Cadiz is ideal to discover by bike. A very diverse province, with regions worth visiting, starting at the lands that surround the city of Jerez de la Frontera, over the towns and villages of the Gibraltar countryside, to the famous Whitte Villages of the Sierra or the coastline villages between Tarifa and Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
Viewpoints, ravines and gorges, mountain passes and Canyons blend with the rural architecture and local gastronomy, with mills and Roman roads.
The visitor may come to Cádiz with the idea of doing a bike route, and finish walking along the beach, visiting the Sherry Wine Bodegas, doing the Route of the White Villages or get on the boat to watch dolphins and whales in the Strait of Gibraltar. On his own or with the help of one of the many companies that are specialized in this coast and countryside offering Kitesurf and diving classes, boat trips, ornithology and botanical sessions, climbing and Canyon descents, mountaineering, speleology, hang gliding and paragliding…
With family or with friends, taking gentle or rougher routes: it is a really refreshing experience to discover the Province of Cádiz by bike.
